Description of work: Richmond is seeking to improve systems of tracking properties and monitoring progress citywide. The Campaign began working with the City in September 2005 to help create vacant building strategies that include:

  • Development of deliberate methodologies and best practices that assist in preventative as well as pro-active deployment strategies;
  • Development of an inventory and tracking system for Richmond’s vacant properties;
  • Development of an evaluation tool that establishes benchmarks, monitors efficiency and effectiveness and measures impact of improvements over time.
