Reclaiming Vacant Properties: Strategies for Rebuilding America’s Neighborhoods is sponsored by the National Vacant Properties Campaign. The NVPC is a program of Smart Growth America, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, and the Metropolitan Institute at Virginia Tech. NVPC’s mission is to help communities prevent abandonment and reclaim vacant and abandoned properties.

 

 

     


The Federal Reserve Bank of
Cleveland
is the principal planning partner of the conference. Established in 1914 as part of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland serves Ohio, western Pennsylvania, eastern Kentucky, and the panhandle of West Virginia. The Bank has branch offices in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

You'll be able to choose from over 30 breakout sessions, including a number of mobile workshops featuring some of the most exciting neighborhoods and initiatives in Pittsburgh. Network and share your expertise with others working to build strong, healthy communities across the country.

Make sure to read the descriptions of the concurrent sessions before registering. You'll be required to select one session during each time period in order to register (don't worry - you can change your mind later.) 

 

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

Continuing Education Credits may be available for some professions. Check with your accrediting authority for eligibility. After the conference, the National Vacant Properties Campaign will gladly provide participants with certificates of attendance for appropriate sessions to support applications for credit.
